The Alzheimer's and Memory Center at Stella Maris not only provides care for those who live at Stella Maris but also is a resource for support and education for families. Our staff will periodically update this area with articles and information that may be helpful. Here also you will find information on Support Groups and other educational opportunities offered by Stella Maris.

Support Groups & Education
Stella Maris sponsors an on-going support group for families or friends of someone with Alzheimer's or other dementia. The group meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 2 pm. The group provides both education and support for those who are caring for someone with Alzheimer's at home or are in a facility such as Stella Maris. Call 410-252-4500, ext. 7323 for more information.

Stella Maris also sponsors a symposium on issues related to Alzheimer's and related dementias each autumn. This symposium has sessions for healthcare professionals as well as the general public. Watch this page for more information as it becomes available.
