Admission Process

The Admission process at Stella Maris begins with a telephone call to our Admissions Office at 410-252-4500, for Hospice

ext. 7307, for Long Term Care ext. 7549, or Rehab ext. 7546.

With one phone call, you can arrange for a visit, a tour and an interview. With the realization that you are making a difficult decision, our goal is to guide you through the admissions process as quickly as possible.

Our Admissions Office is open from 8 AM until 5 PM Monday through Friday and 10 AM until 2 PM on Saturday. Admissions to Stella Maris can take place at any time of the day and week with prior arrangement.

Stella Maris has an Admissions team comprised of nurses, social workers and intake assistants to answer your questions and assess your loved one’s appropriate placement in one of our 10 nursing units. Your loved one can be clinically evaluated for residence at Stella Maris from their current residence, from a hospital, or from another nursing facility.

Our caring Admissions staff will guide you through the Admissions process and assist you in having financial arrangements completed with the help of our Accounting Department.
